OLNEY — Olney emergency crews prevented what could've been a much worse fire situation on Friday evening.
Olney Fire was dispatched to an RV fire around 10 p.m. on Friday near mile marker 10 on Upper Whitefish Road. Officials found the camper completely engulfed and close to nearby trees in the woods.
No one was injured in the fire and Olney Fire was able to prevent the blaze from spreading to the trees in the woods, though they reported that the fire did "torch" one tree.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
