Cochise County Sheriff’s K9 to get body armor

    TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN/ KWBA) — Manny, a K9 officer for the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office, will receive body armor thanks to a donation.

According to the office, Manny will receive a vest that will protect him from bullets and knives thanks to Vested Interest in K9s, Inc.

The San Simon School National Honor Society held a fundraiser. The vest, which cost $950, will be embroidered with “Gifted by the Parsons Family.”

Manny will receive the vest within 8 to 10 weeks.
