MISSOULA – Run Wild Missoula offers several different training classes for runners, walkers, and all paces in between. They have offered training classes since the Missoula Marathon began. With four different training options, there is something for all ages and abilities. Click here for more information or to register.

KALISPELL – The Meals on Wheels program for the Flathead County Agency on Aging is in need of drivers. Volunteers may be able to dedicate one to five days a week of their choice and will receive training, mileage reimbursement, and a free meal for their volunteer service. MISSOULA – The Missoula Kiwanis Club is seeking applications for a special capital funding opportunity next year. The club, which is devoted to supporting youth and child-focused causes in Missoula, is making $20,000 available to the successful applicant. The application deadline is March 1, 2019.  Applicants may send their narrative to korzech@q.com by the February 14.


ST REGIS – The first annual Sweetheart Dinner & Dance will be held at the Saint Regis Community Center on Feb. 9. The main course of the dinner will be provided. It’s a potluck event so be sure to bring your favorite side dish or dessert if you can. Live music will be provided, all you have to do it provide the dancing.

MISSOULA – The 5 Valley Accordion Club Jam and Dance will be held on Feb. 10 at the Sunrise Saloon on Strand Avenue in Missoula from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. It will be a Valentine’s dance and ladies get a flower! The cost is $4 for members and $5 for guests. Everyone is welcome.

POLSON- The Polson Kiwanis will be holding their annual Burgerfest on Feb. 11 at the Polson Elk’s Club. Tickets are $10 per person and the proceeds from the event will support local student scholarships.

MISSOULA – The 5th Annual Outdoor Recreation & Motorsports Show will take place at Southgate Mall from Feb. 15 until Feb. 17. Check out an adrenaline-pumping selection of the area’s most popular recreational vehicles. Mall hours: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.  There is no charge to attend.

MISSOULA – Mended Little Hearts of Montana is happy to announce their 5th annual Valentines Family Bash on Feb. 16 at the Barn on Mullan. The event runs from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. and includes live music, a photo booth, face painting, raffles, and more! The proceeds support Montana heart families.

WHITEFISH –  Join Whitefish Legacy Partners for a free family-friendly education hike on the Whitefish Trail to learn to distinguish between a variety of common wildlife tracks on Feb. 16 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Meet at Lion Mountain Trailhead. BIGFORK – The Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theater invites students in grades 5 through 12 to audition on Feb. 18 for the cast of the hit musical “The Addams Family.” Auditions for 5th and 6th grade start at 4:30 p.m., and at 6 p.m. for 7th through 12th grades. It costs nothing to audition, but a fee of $50 is needed to be a part of the cast.

LAKESIDE – The annual Blacktail Mountain Ski Patrol Fundraiser will take place on Feb. 18. A $15 registration fee buys you your poker hand, 5 raffle tickets and full participation in the day’s games. MISSOULA – Bethel Community Church offers a  Free Clothes Closet to the public on Tuesday’s from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. But on  Feb. 19, the hours will be extended until 6 p.m. to allow even more people to take advantage of the free clothes offered. MISSOULA – The Montana Wildfire 12U softball team is hosting a spaghetti dinner on Feb. 21 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Denny’s in Missoula. MISSOULA – The Hospice Care Foundation is once again gearing up for its largest annual fundraiser. The black-tie event will be held on Feb. 22 and will feature a live auction, silent auction, bingo, photo booths, and more! Click here for more information.

MISSOULA – The Five Valleys Audubon Society will hold a field trip to Mission Valley on Feb. 23. The event runs from 7:50 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is an all-day field trip to the Mission Valley to look for raptors. Meet in the northwest corner of the University of Montana Adams Center parking lot at 7:50 a.m. or at the Cenex Gas Station in Ronan at 9 a.m. The event is free. RONAN – The Ronan Women’s Club Arts and Craft Fair will be held on March 9 at the Ronan Community Center from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Along with the arts and craft displays, they will be serving fry bread, Indian tacos, soup, and sandwiches. Click here for more information.

MISSOULA – The 12th annual Missoula Women’s Fair will be held on March 9 at UM’s University Center. The event will open at 11 a.m. with 70 vendors of the best leading companies, boutiques, and brands.  Entertainment will also be provided by vocalists, dancing, cheer squads and more. All of this will be free to attend.
