MISSOULA – This week’s Republic Services and KPAX-TV One Class at a time grant goes to a Lewis and Clark P.E. teacher.
Kim Kees received a $250 check which she is using to purchase floor and field nets. These nets can be used for indoor and outdoor activities for multiple sports, including soccer and hockey among others.
Kees says she also likes to get creative with games and sports for her students. The nets will replace cones, which Kees says her students will enjoy. The $250 award will help her buy five to six nets.
“You can use them indoor or outdoors, you can use them for many different games and they also use them for management of games,” Kees said. “Instead of dividing the gym up in full court, I can flip the activity, and we can go from sideline to sideline.”
