MISSOULA — This week's One Class at a Time winner is looking for one more computer to complete full classroom set.

Washington Middle School Language Arts teacher Daniel Wainwright is this week's recipient of a $250 check thanks to KPAX-TV and Republic Services.

KPAX-TV General Manager Bob Hermes presented Wainwright the check which will be used to purchase a Google Chromebook.

His class is bigger than it has been in previous years creating this need. Writing is a vital part of the Language Arts curriculum, and having each student have their own Chromebook is key to their success.

“We do a lot of writing in the language arts class, obviously and using the computer helps a great deal. Everyone is using computers for everything in business, so the more computer time the students have, the more ready they are for opportunities after school," Wainwright said.
