GLACIER NATIONAL PARK – Firefighters working to contain wildfires burning in Glacier National Park have received some help from very far away.

The Capetown-based NCC Environmental Services posted this video on social media showing a wildfire crew based in South Africa who answered a call from Montana to help fight wildfires.

In the post the group says, "The crew took a break fighting the Howe Ridge Fire to express their enjoyment and pride in what they love best, "taming the beast."

Firefighters face falling snags and other unknown dangers fighting the wildfires burning in the Glacier National Park. While the Howe Ridge Fire has destroyed historic cabins and continues to threaten structures a big thank you goes to firefighters working to protect the Park.
