What is your job?
I am a sports and news multimedia journalist at KPAX.
When did you start working here?
I started working here in May of 2023.
Where else have you worked?
I have worked many retail jobs to get myself through college while also working for my college's student TV and radio stations.
Where did you go to college?
I graduated from Washington State University majoring in broadcast news and minoring in sports communication.
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Redmond Washington about 20 minutes away from Seattle.
What are some of the biggest news stories you have covered?
In 2022 I covered the murders in Moscow Idaho at the University of Idaho with my student newscast. It was a harsh but educational experience at the start of my journalism career.
What is your philosophy on news?
I believe the news is a voice for the voiceless in a community. It is an opportunity to tell the important stories of the people around you and educate the community.
What do you love about living here?
I love walking and hiking the beautiful mountains of Montana and enjoying the many lakes and rivers that surround Missoula.
