GLACIER NATIONAL PARK — The famed Going-to-the-Sun Road between Avalanche Creek and Logan Pass will be closed from Sept. 16 until Sept. 29 due to an ongoing pavement preservation project.
Logan Pass will remain accessible from the east side of Glacier National Park via the Saint Mary's entrance.
Avalanche Lake Trail also will remain accessible, along with other trailheads west of Avalanche Creek.
Visitors also should be aware that all water at the Logan Pass Visitor Center is now off for the winter season.
