WHITEFISH – An out of control brush fire burned more than 30 acres, several outbuildings, and a car near Whitefish on Tuesday evening.
Lincoln Chute with the Flathead Office of Emergency Management says the blaze broke out around 5 p.m. off KM Ranch Road.
Several regional agencies responded and were able to get a handle on the fire quickly before it spread to nearby homes on Spring Prairie Road.
Altogether it damaged three outbuildings, including a mobile home that was being used for storage, and one vehicle.
No injuries were reported.
