POLSON – Tribal fire officials report that there were four confirmed lightning fire starts during a reservation wide storm that hit on Monday.
All four are small and around a 1/10 of an acre in size with CSK&T fire officials noting that more fires will likely pop up in the heat of the day.
A helicopter has already completed a recon flight and didn’t find any additional starts, according to fire officials.
