KALISPELL — Traffic on the Kalispell bypass was backed up for hours on Monday after a man jumped off an overpass onto the highway.
Kalispell Police Chief Doug Overman says at approximately 3 p.m. a man climbed onto an overpass over the road and jumped off onto the bypass. A car then struck the man who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Kalispell Police Department is currently investigating the incident as a possible suicide.
