Where did you go to college?
Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas
Where did you grow up?
My father spent 27 years in the U.S. Navy, so we moved around a lot. The longest stays were at Whidbey Island, Washington and Tokyo, Japan. All of my family is from Kentucky.
What are some of the biggest news stories you have covered or led coverage of?
I was one of the first journalists to share the story of the police raid that killed Breonna Taylor in Louisville. Taylor's death sparked massive social justice protests in the city, of which I spent the next 108 days in the field reporting.
What is your philosophy on news?
Our community only works when the people know what is happening. It's the job of Montana This Morning to leave every viewer with the knowledge they need to start their day.
What do you love about living here?
The people! Montanans are a warm and welcoming group, and I appreciate the public stewardship of the land.
