The Granite County Sheriff has released the name of the man who drowned in a floating accident near Rock Creek this weekend.
Sheriff Scott Dunkerson identified the victim as Alfred Tully, 71, of Missoula.
Tully’s raft capsized in the Harry’s Flat area of Rock Creek Sunday afternoon after it hit a log jam.
A second person in the raft was able to make it to shore safely.
Granite County Sheriff’s deputies, Granite County Search and Rescue and Missoula County Search and Rescue, along with aid of the Life Flight Network, assisted in the search for Tully.
