BILLINGS – An early Saturday morning crash in Big Horn County left one dead and one injured after a single vehicle accident.
A 23-year-old woman from Hardin died after crashing a gray 2006 Ford Focus at mile marker 1.5 on BIA Highway 1.
The woman was driving eastbound when the vehicle drifted off the right side of the road for unknown reasons.
She overcorrected, came back on the road and collided with a cement barrier, causing the vehicle to roll multiple times.
The woman, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was partially ejected and pronounced dead on the scene.
A 21-year-old female passenger, who was wearing a seatbelt, was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Alcohol, drugs and speed are all suspected factors.
