FRENCHTOWN – Fire officials say that crews were able to knock down a wildfire in the Dry Gulch area just south of Frenchtown Monday afternoon that was sparked by an unattended campfire.

Crews were dispatched around 2:30 p.m. Monday after people in the area reported smoke off of Southside Road.

This is a developing story.
