MISSOULA – A man is being charged with two felonies after he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend on July 26th.
Court documents say that Kevin Scott, 32, was at the Missoula County residence of his girlfriend when the two began arguing.
Scott’s girlfriend, who is identified as Jane Doe in court documents, says that during the argument Scott called her a slur and then threw her to the ground.
Doe says Scott then began choking her for what she believed to be around 10 seconds, not allowing her to breathe.
Scott then fled the scene when Doe told him she was going to call the police.
Scott — who has two prior conviction for Partner or Family Member Assault — is scheduled to appear in Missoula County Justice Court on Wednesday.
