KALISPELL – Authorities are releasing more information about a weekend fatal stabbing in Kalispell.
Kalispell Police report that the two people involved in the incident were dating and living together. Ryan Cody Lamb, 34, is being held in the Flathead County jail on pending deliberate homicide charges in the death of Ryan Edward Nixon, 31.
KPD Investigations chief Doug Overman says deputies found Nixon unresponsive early Sunday morning inside an apartment following a disturbance call off Two Mile Drive. Nixon was pronounced dead at the scene.
Overman says the department has poured all of their resources into the three-day investigation that continues. He could not reveal any motive in the fatal stabbing but says the men were "dating" each other and in a domestic partnership.
