House hit by falling boulder in Billings

BILLINGS – A boulder fell from the Rimrocks on Wednesday night in Billings and struck a house below. 

The boulder is in the backyard of the home at 3328 37th Street West. Some smaller rocks are in the yard.

The homeowner told MTN News that rocks came into the living room at around 9 p.m.

Nobody inside the home was injured as a result of the incident.

Billings Mayor Bill Cole, Billings police and firefighters and representatives from MDU and NorthWestern Energy were all at the scene.
