BILLINGS – Sen. Rand Paul, (R-KY) showed support for Montana Republican U.S. Senate candidate and State Auditor Matt Rosendale on Sunday morning.
Rosendale is facing incumbent Sen. Jon Tester (D-MT) in a tight race.
About 150 people came out to hear Paul and Rosendale at the Stars and Stripes Lounge & Casino, next door to the American Family Restaurant.
“I’m not campaigning for that many Republicans Paul said. “I’m only campaigning for people who I truly believe will respect the Constitution and will vote to balance the budget, vote not to have the federal government coming out here to Montana and telling you what to do.”
Paul and Rosendale will also talk in Lewistown and Havre on Sunday.
