GREAT FALLS – The human remains that were found last week on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation have been recovered and sent to the FBI Laboratory in Quantico, Virginia, for analysis.
Authorities have not disclosed the location where the remains were found. The FBI made the announcement on Monday morning; no other information has been released at this point.
The FBI says that the agency was made aware of what appears to be human remains on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation on December 13.
The FBI’s Evidence Response Team from Salt Lake City is working to recover the remains and process the location where they were found.
