Governor Steve Bullock is encouraging all Montanan's who have traveled abroad to self-quarantine for two weeks.

The Thursday advisory is the latest in a series of steps by the state to slow the spread of coronavirus.

Montanans who traveled abroad are also encouraged to contact their local health department.

Bullock's advisory comes on the same day the State Department warned all Americans against international travel.

The State Department also told U.S. citizens currently out of the country that if they can return to the U.S., they should immediately do so.

For more information about COVID-19, Montanans can call the state's toll-free hotline at 1-888-333-0461 or visit covid19.mt.gov .
