Confirmed Montana COVID-19 cases rise to 299

The Montana Response COVID-19 track map reports that the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Treasure State stood at 299 on Monday morning.

The previous number of confirmed cases stood at 298 on Sunday afternoon.

There were two news cases in Flathead County, six in Gallatin County, one in Lincoln County, two in Missoula County and two in Yellowstone County reported on Sunday

There have been six confirmed COVID-19 related deaths in Montana with the latest coming over the weekend from Missoula County. There have also been 24 hospitalizations reported due to COVID-19.

Gov. Steve Bullock’s orders closing public schools and requiring people to stay home -- except for essential activities -- are both currently set to expire April 10.
