President Trump on Friday signed a massive, $2 trillion stimulus package for American workers and businesses in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
There are now more than 1,693 deaths and 104,000 confirmed cases in the U.S., according to Johns Hopkins University.
Globally, more than 595,000 people have caught the virus and it has killed over 27,300. More than 131,000 of those infected have already recovered, but as Mr. Trump conceded on Thursday, "there is still a long battle ahead."
