HAMILTON — A COVID-19 vaccination clinic is set for this weekend in Hamilton.

Ravalli County Public Health reports the mass clinic will be hosted by Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital on Saturday.

The hospital was one of many hospitals across the state that recently received 975 doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine that was reallocated from CVS and Walgreens.

“Public Health has been working closely with community partners approved by the state to receive allocations of COVID vaccine in an effort to share limited supplies,” Ravalli County Public Health Director Tiffany Webber said.

Ravalli County Public Health is encouraging residents who are interested in receiving vaccination to sign up here.

Webber says that Ravalli County will begin to contact registered residents by phone to schedule appointments. She also noted the health department office has an unusual 802-prefix phone number.

"Public Health would like to thank the team of folks at Marcus Daly and all those providers for their quick action in pulling together this great opportunity to provide vaccine to our county,” Webber said in a news release.

The latest numbers from the Montana COVID-19 tracking map shows that 4,014 vaccinations have occurred in Ravalli County and that 1,018 people are fully immunized.

To date, a total of 2,565 COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Ravalli County including 2,471 recoveries and 28 COVID-19 related deaths.
