HAMILTON — A pair of COVID-19 cases were confirmed in the Hamilton school system on Monday.

The Hamilton School District was notified by Ravalli County Public Health of the two positive COVID-19 cases, according to school district spokeswoman Justine Stewart.

Staff and students who were determined to be close contacts of Monday's confirmed positive coronavirus cases have been notified individually.

Stewart noted that all Hamilton School District buildings remain open and students and staff should report to school "unless they have been directly instructed otherwise."

Due to privacy constraints, the District is unable to provide additional information regarding the positive COVID-19 cases.
