Back in July, Governor Bullock issued a directive that requires residents in Montana counties with four or more active cases to wear face masks.
In Madison County, officials are urging residents to stay informed about the number of cases as it changes on a daily basis.
But some residents are concerned that enough communication is not being made.
“We do in fact have four active cases. They can visit the public health website and receive that information. We do periodically put out a press release. We have a public health board meeting tomorrow at 4:30,” said Bonnie O'Neill, the county chief administrative officer.
The public is invited to that meeting Tuesday. It will be entirely virtual, and details are available at the Madison County website. The mask mandate will be discussed.
