MISSOULA — The Missoula City-County Health Department (MCCHD) reports an additional 80 COVID-19 cases have been confirmed since the Friday update.
Three additional COVID-19 related deaths have also been recorded. No further details are being released.
MCCHD reports 42 cases were reported on Saturday, 27 on Sunday and 11 on Monday.
The number of active COVID-19 cases has fallen from 210 on Friday to 178.
The number of confirmed cases in Missoula County stands at 7,705 including 7,446recoveries and 81 deaths.
The number of COVID-19 related hospitalizations was not available in the Monday update.
The average of daily new cases per 100,000 has dipped from 24 on Friday to 23.
The MCCHD goal is to bring that number down to 25/100,000 people for two consecutive weeks or more.

The Board of Health announced on Jan. 21 that there will be an easing of several of the COVID-19 restrictions in place for Missoula County.
