BUTTE – Two men from Lake County failed to return to the Butte Pre-Release Center on Friday night.
Xander Matt, 19, is a 5’9″ tall Native American who weighs 150 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and a slender build. He also has several tattoos on his hands, arms and legs.
Matt was serving time for a felony burglary conviction and a bail jumping charge out of Lake County from November 2017.
The second walkaway is Francis Burke, Jr,. 24. He is a Native American who is 5’10” tall and weighs 195 pounds. Burke has black hair, brown eyes and tattoos on his arm and chest.
He has convictions for criminal endangerment and possession of dangerous drugs out of Lake County from December of 2013.
Anyone with information on either man is asked to notify local law enforcement.
