Man sentenced for Kalispell meth trafficking

KALISPELL – A man who admitted to bringing meth to Kalispell for distribution will spend time in federal prison.

35 year-old Christopher George Nomura was sentenced to five years for the possession with intent to distribute charge, and another five for possessing a firearm during the crime.

Nomura pled guilty to the charges in August after officers arrested him at a Kalispell hotel in 2016 during a drug trafficking investigation.

He was in possession of two pistols and a baggie of meth when found.

Nomura admitted to agents that he and an accomplice drove from California to distribute meth in the Kalispell area.

One he finishes his sentence he will be on supervised release for an additional five years.
