HELENA – A judge set bond at $10,000 for an 18-year-old Helena man who is accused of rape.
Blake Riley McHugh appeared via video in Lewis and Clark County Justice Court Monday.
According to court documents, police responded to the hospital to investigate an alleged sexual assault on Saturday.
The woman told police she was extremely intoxicated when the alleged rape occurred.
Court records show when police first questioned McHugh, he denied having intercourse with the woman.
Then, he reportedly admitted there were indications she didn’t fully consent.
McHugh has been charged with one count of sexual intercourse without consent, a felony.
