GREAT FALLS — A man is facing several charges after he allegedly assaulted two people and then fought with police officers in Great Falls.

According to court documents, at about 3 a.m. on Saturday, April 25, police officers responded to a residence on 6th Avenue South for a report of a woman saying Nightshoot was going to assault her and family members.

Officers found Shilo Bill Nighshoot in the upstairs hallway and tried to talk with him, but he kept saying, "shoot me."

Nighshoot then stood up and grabbed the vest of one of the officers, and then began fighting with the officers. Eventually the officers were able to subdue Nightshoot and place him in handcuffs.

Officers then talked with witnesses; they said that Nightshoot had punched a man several times, threatened a woman, and broke a window by throwing a bottle of alcohol through it.

Nightshoot has been charged with assault on a peace officer, partner/family member assault, criminal mischief, assault, and obstructing a peace officer.
