HAMILTON — More information is coming to light about an arson fire that claimed three lives in Corvallis on July 6.
The Ravalli County Sheriff's Office reports that test at a forensic laboratory has confirmed the use of accelerants to start and fuel the deadly fire.
Ravalli County Sheriff Steve Holton says his office is also investigating a prior arson attempt at the same apartment, on Thursday, July 2.
A potential connection with another fire incident during the same time period -- that occurred north of Hamilton -- is also being investigated, according to a news release.
Sheriff Holton says detectives have identified video of a vehicle of interest and are working to locate that vehicle and registered owner.
