MISSOULA — The University of Montana Police Department is investigating a report of a sexual assault and strangulation incident.
UMPD notes in an alert it received a report of the incident – which happened on a residence hall in September — on Monday.
An investigation is underway with UMPD reporting that the assailant is known to the victim.
