Vandalism causes thousands of dollars in damage to Missoula soccer fields

MISSOULA — Local law enforcement is looking for the public’s help following recent vandalism that occurred at the soccer fields at Fort Missoula Regional Park.

According to the Missoula Police Department, Missoula Parks and Recreation has reported that vehicles have been driving off of the road and causing damage by spinning tires and gouging field surfaces.

A social media post notes the vandalism has caused thousands of dollars in damage to fields that will now be unavailable in the spring until repairs can be made.

Anyone who has information about the vandalism at Fort Missoula Regional Park is asked to contact the Missoula Police Department at (406) 552-6300.

Additionally, anyone who sees vehicles driving off designated roads is asked to call 911.
