BOZEMAN — The Gallatin County Commissioners approved mail ballots for the November election, with a 2-to-1 vote.

Commissioner Skinner was the opposing vote.

There were approximately 2½ hours of public comment.

Numerous people supporting all mail-in spoke online, while many opposed to a mail-in election spoke publicly in person.

Voter fraud and "ballot harvesting" were the main concerns for those opposed to the mail-in ballot.

Those supporting the mail-in ballots said they supported the option for health concerns during the Coronavirus pandemic.

This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
