The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes Division of Fire is reporting two new fires have started west of Ronan.
Both fires started Thursday afternoon by Sloan's Bridge, about 12 miles west of Ronan. The first fire is about 20 acres while the second is about 87 acres.
CSKT Division of Fire says both fires are under investigation and 120 personnel are assigned between the two fires.
No evacuation notices are out and no structures are threatened as of Thursday evening. There are also no road closures but people are advised to stay away from the area and to adhere to the signs on the Little Bitterroot Road.
