MISSOULA — The Lolo National Forest is lowering fire danger from "very high" to "moderate" due to cooler temperatures and precipitation that fell over the weekend across the forest.

Fire managers note that although fire danger is moderate, fires can still start from most accidental causes, especially in grassland areas.
