The Magpie Fire, which began on Monday, is nearing 400 acres burned, according to Sanders County Wildland Fire.
Containment operations are proceeding on the Magpie Rock Fire, which is located eight miles west of Dixon. Air tankers working on the fire were, however, diverted to the Horseshoe Fire which is also in the CSKT Division of Fire's responsibility area.
Roads into the fire remain closed. We will continue to update you on the fire as more information becomes available.
