PARADISE — Crews are battling a string of fires that have broken out in Sanders County.
The Montana Department of Transportation is reporting that multiple small fires are burning along Montana Highway 200 near Paradise.
Motorists should watch for delays between mile marker 85 and mile marker 88 -- three miles east of Paradise.
Fire equipment should be expected along the road as well as reduced speeds and delays.
Sanders County Wildland Fire Information tells MTN News there are several starts but that they are getting a handle on the situation.
The biggest of the starts is at about the 89 mile marker and has two CSKT Division of Fire engines and on US Forest Service engine on it.
The Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC) and rural fire personnel are also on the scene patrolling the area.
