CLINTON — A structure fire broke out near Clinton Saturday afternoon, closing down the Highway 10 frontage road.
Clinton firefighters responded to reports of a structure fire with large flames and lots of smoke off of Highway 90 in Clinton at 12:10 pm.
When crews arrived they found one or two structures on fire and flames spreading to the grass.
Missoula City, Missoula Rural, East Missoula Fire and Frenchtown fire crews were also called to the scene for assistance.
A type 3 DNRC helicopter was also dispatched.
According to the Missoula Rural Fire District, at least two structures were burned down with a possible third.
No homes were taken but one home has exterior damage to a wall.
The scene is currently stable but crews are still working to put out hot spots.
