Sunday's suppression efforts held through the evening with the fire remaining at 12-hundred acres on Monday.
The fire is burning in steep and rocky terrain and moving in a northeastern direction.
While visibility has restricted aircraft, around 120 personnel and resources are assigned to fight this fire.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and remains under investigation.
