MISSOULA — The 33-acre Plant Creek fire burning 9 miles southeast of Missoula near Miller Creek has been fully contained.
Fire managers report crews completed containment lines on Wednesday as cooler temperatures and wet weather has moderated fire behavior.
Firefighters are expected to continue working and patrolling the area throughout the rest of the week and into the weekend.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
