KALISPELL – Authorities have released the name of the person who was found dead after a car fire in the Hungry Horse area.
Flathead County Sheriff Chuck Curry says Conrad Peak, 77, who is said to be a transient died in the December 8 fire which happened near Lion Lake.
Peak was reported to have been living in his car in the Hungry Horse area for the last couple of weeks prior to his death and was last known to live in Texas.
The investigation into what sparked the blaze in Peaks’ 2006 Ford Escape 4 door vehicle is still underway.
