2 hurt after car hits Kalispell building

KALISPELL – Two people were taken to a local hospital after their car hit a building on Tuesday morning.

Tara Oster with Kalispell Police Department tells MTN News that a little before 12 p.m. the driver of a gray sedan crashed into the Signature Theater building.

Officers believe the driver of the vehicle mistakenly placed her foot on the gas pedal instead of the brake, sending taking out a sign and sending the car into the building.

There were three people in the car at the time of the accident and there’s no word yet on the extent of the injuries as a result of the crash.

The Kalispell Police Department is continuing to investigate the incident.
