Your wish has been granted! Five small words that have a large impact on the Merrill family here in Helena.

The Montana Hope Project grants wishes to children living with critical illnesses.

The group recently granted their 477th wish to 7 year-old Eamon Merrill.

Eamon has a neurological disorder which affects his day-to-day life, and the lives of his parents and his four siblings.

Eamon wished to visit Legoland and Walt Disney World in Florida.

Now he, and his entire family will leave next Wednesday, for a week-long fully-funded adventure.

It's something Eamon's mother says, would never have been possible without the Montana Hope Project.

"Because sometimes with kids with disabilities, the siblings kind of get left without much attention, so I am excited for Eamon for sure, but I am excited for my other kids too, that they get to experience something that we would never be able to do," Nicole Merrill said.

The Montana Hope Project is sponsored by the Association of Montana Troopers

It was started in 1984 by a group of Montana Highway Patrol officers, to help kids with critical illnesses.
