LAKESIDE — The lifts will take off on Blacktail Mountain near Lakeside on Friday morning -- just in time for the holiday season.
Blacktail Mountain Ski Area announced recent snowfall and current weather conditions guarantee a partial opening of terrain on Friday.
The ski area does not use snow-making machines, which affects their opening date.
Blacktail will be open every day between Friday, Dec. 20 and Sunday, Jan. 5 from 9:30 a.m and 4:30 p.m.
