COLUMBIA FALLS — Columbia Fall High School has finalized graduation plans.

Graduation will be held on June 6 at 11 a.m. at the high school’s football field.

Each graduate can distribute six tickets for family members, and families will be assigned a special section of seating in the bleachers. Columbia Falls High School principal Scott Gaiser said families will be socially distanced and extra sanitary measures will be in place.

He said graduation will also be live-streamed on KOFI FM and AM radio.

Gaiser says a big screen projector will show graduates from the football field allowing families to view graduation from the comfort of their cars.

“We’re taking advantage of a field to the east of the football field so family members can sit in the car and see a large projection screen, hear the graduation on the radio, and hopefully can have that experience that’s so important for family members,” said Gaiser.

137 seniors are expected to graduate from Columbia Falls. The event will also be live-streamed on the school's Facebook page.
