KALISPELL — Law enforcement is waiting on blood toxicology from the driver who hit Jordana Hubble, 6, of Whitefish while she was getting off of a school bus.

Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Jerill Ren says the MHP is discussing the specifics of the case with the Flathead County Attorney's Office.

Hubble was struck by a vehicle that failed to yield while Hubble was exiting her school bus in November.

According to Hubble's family, she remains in a coma with serious brain injuries.

Trooper Ren says that the results of the blood test from the Montana State Lab are expected to arrive soon.

Once toxicology returns the Flathead County Attorney's Office and the MHP will proceed with the case.
