KALISPELL — Kalispell residents could see huge changes on the Kalispell bypass within the next five years as the final design of the project is underway.
Transportation officials say the roundabouts near Basecamp Drive and Airport Road will be converted into a four-lane highway.
Officials are looking to add potential overpass and on and off ramps to alleviate traffic.
Montana Department of Transportation District Adminstrator Bob Vosen sought feedback Thursday from the public regarding these changes.
"Looking at what the replacements of the roundabouts could possibly look like, we’re hoping to have some options to take to the public early next year,” Vosen said.
Vosen will show design options to the public in the next couple months.
