MISSOULA — The Missoula Art Museum (MAM) hosted its annual fundraiser on Friday evening.

The event, like most other live performance art these days, was done virtually. New this year, the MAM partnered with the Montana Area Music Association to create an album, highlighting local artists continuing their work through the pandemic.

On behalf of all of us at MAM, thank you for participating in #MAMsBigNight! We are still basking in the glow of this year’s auction. With your help, we raised more than $98,000, which will help us fortify our programs and build a bridge to the other side of this pandemic.
If you watched, bid, donated, or just shared our posts on social media — thank you. With your help, over 600 people watched the live-stream event! If you missed it, check out the recording at the link below!
Special thanks to our business sponsors, Johnna Wells, Imagination Media, and the team at Givergy. Thank you to everyone who shared their stories for the videos featured during the auction, and the restaurant partners who supplied meals for attendees in Missoula.

Money raised during the event will go toward helping the museum continue its mission to bring art to the community. Organizers say this is their biggest fundraiser of the year and they're excited to be open and working with artists.

Auctioneer Johnna Wells was excited to be back after almost 10 years of working with the MAM.

"Art is so powerful, and it provides so many opportunities and resources, from youth and children that are experiencing art education programs, to the other end of the age spectrum, where you're taking in the artists that come through with the exhibits, mam is just the gift that keeps on giving, truly, to Missoula and beyond,” Wells said.
